Regarding virtual performances, players do not need to be in time with each other for Motifs A and B.
Player 1, Motif A : Ich Bin Fluxus

start with written pitches on tp.

feel free to play only the LH or RH part at any point.

after a while feel free to: change pitches, play without pitches, add latin-esque LH, make FILL rubato at will,
switch to ptp or any instrument, etc.

when cued in score to do so, sing-speak, shout, or speak the lyrics in time, leave out the downbeat of
the last bar. optionally keep playing the motif whilst vocalizing.

Player 1, Motif B : Bach Train

play a steady stream of precisely articulated quarter notes, a la Bach, as if in 4/4 time on tp.

pitches unimportant, you are the Bach Train.

feel free to: stop/start, change tempo, accelerate/decelerate, alter dynamics, start on upbeat, add
embellishments (they have to be Bach-esque and precisely in time).

throw in hits randomly (using any instrument or voice) one at a time with a lot of space between hits.

it’s okay to play the quarter notes very slowly. speed is not required but could be fun.
Player 2, Motif A : dadadadada

Player 2 will always count in aloud: “1 2 3 4” before starting Motif A.

sing-speak/shout dada in time with written rhythm.

feel free to change between ptp or any non-pitched instrument or spoken “dada”.

when cued in score to do so, sing-speak, shout, or speak the lyrics in time.

Player 2, Motif B : elevenses

Player 2 will always count in aloud: “1 2 1 2 ” before starting Motif B.

play slowly on tp.

feel free to add chords in LH.
