PACKAGE PRICE FOR SELECTED PAEDIATRIC SURGERIES

To provide high quality health care facilities at affordable price to a maximum number of patients, The Aga Khan
University Hospital (AKUH) offers “package price” for selected Paediatric Surgeries. AKUH offers a total care program
in which the patient is cared by a professional team of Surgeon, Nurses, Radiologists and other Technical Support Staff.

Paediatric Surgery Package Price enables patient/family to know beforehand the cost of treatment and be in control of
the cost of care. After examination, the surgeon will determine the eligibility for the package, which is as under:

Charges Included in the Package Price:

 Room and nursing for patient  Routine patient meals.
 Attending surgeon’s visits.  Routine Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy &
 Surgeon & Anaesthetist’s fee. Medical /Surgical supplies.
 Operating/recovery room charges.

Charges NOT Included in the Package Price:

 Special consultation during hospitalization other
than the primary surgeon.
 Blood will be provided from AKUH Blood Bank on an
exchange basis.
 Additional meals on request, convenience items,
telephone calls, attendant room etc.
 Any other procedure/ surgery/ physiotherapy if
required.
 Diagnostic tests (Lab, radiology, cardiopulmonary
etc.), pharmacy and clinic consultations prior to or
after admission.
 Take home medications.

Note:
 Itemized billing details are not issued for package offer.
 In case of any additional procedure(s), package will not be applicable and actual cost of treatment will be charged.
 In case of change of accommodation request, package charges will be revised accordingly.
