INTRODUCTION
Vendors is a person who provides goods and services to customers. They will be
the one who purchase products and sell it to other individuals or some of them sell to a
company. Majority of people tend to become a vendor in order to live and provide the
needs of their family.
A vendor, also known as a supplier, is a person or a business entity that sells
something. A vendor generally finds somewhere to purchase their goods and services.
After acquiring the necessary items, the vendor markets and sells their wares through
whichever method works best for them. For example, if it is a food truck, the vendor
ensures there are enough supplies to make items on the menu and feed an expected
number of customers, then drives to a target area and begins selling food. Some large
retail store chains, such as Target and Walmart, generally have a list of vendors from
which they purchase goods at wholesale prices. In turn, they then sell the goods at retail
prices to their customers. A vendor that supplies one of these large stores would need a
much larger operation to plan for, acquire, and provide the goods and services they are
contracted for. (Grant,2022)
The power of being a vendor has brought a lot of possibilities to the world,
making it easier for business owners or consumers to buy their needs and services.
When people saw the potential of someone being a vendor, new opportunity were
developed and some people started to create their own products and will recommend in

success in one company and help people to their needs. Vendors are popular like
outside the school, office, online, and people who peddle their goods that have got an
attention to the consumers.
As stated by Nasviet.org (2019), a street vendor or street peddler is a person
who sells goods and offers services to the public using a push cart, a head-load or any
structure that is not built in. The street vendors are the one who sells foods, goods and
merchandise on the street or sidewalk. Their store can be pushed, kept or fold during
closing time or can be moved from one location to another. Street vendors' main
objective is to earn money to sustain their daily needs by selling their products based on
people's demand. Street vendors also adds vibrancy in many places. Despite their
contributions, street vendors face many challenges. Street vending can offer a viable
livelihood, but earnings are low and risks are high for many vendors. Having an
insecure place of work is a significant problem for those who work in the streets. Lack of
storage, theft or damage to stock are common issues. Kishan Tiwari (2017) stated that
ordinances and laws are necessary for a society for it serves as a norm of conduct for
citizens. It was also made to act as a guideline as to what is accepted in society and to
sustain the equity. Ordinances keeps the society running and it is pivotal that we follow
them. It plays an important indirect role in regard to social change by shaping a direct
impact on society. It is an effective medium in bringing about social change in the
country or in any region in particular. Ordinances certainly has acted as a catalyst in the
process of social transformation of people.
