Blended learning
Blended learning doesn’t have a fixed definition, but there is a general
agreement among education innovators that blended learning has three
important components.
1. There must be in-person classroom teaching by a trained
educator or legitimate teacher.
2. Online learning material (mostly videos), often include pre-
recorded lectures given by that same teacher.
3. There must be structured independent study time guided by
the material in the lectures and skills must be developed during the
classroom experience.

Now follow these steps to create a lesson:

1. Record a short video explaining the lesson. You don't need an

HD video camera. Simply use webcam or create a slideshow,
which can be easily edited and reused.

2. Create some exercises for practice.

3. Create a quiz, including questions that encourage students to

think beyond the scope of the video. The point of this is to
give the teacher an opportunity to assess the depth of
knowledge of the class.

4. Distribute all the content to the student using virtual

classroom.

There you have it - 4 simple steps to a fully integrated flipped

classroom.
