Dear Mr. Farley,

We write today to provide you with the following letters transmitted by the Committees
to the Biden administration regarding four highly troubling companies that appear in Ford’s
signed agreements with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL). According to
these agreements, Ford will be using information technology (IT) tools and software from these
companies at its planned joint electric vehicle battery plant with CATL.

We respectfully request that Ford make available for an interview a company official who
will be able to speak with us about the due diligence Ford conducted before and after it entered
into the agreements with CATL.

We request that you provide Committee staff with available dates as soon as possible but
no later than February 5, 2024.
