AFC Asian Cup

The AFC Asian Cup is the primary association football competition

contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the
Asian Football Confederation, determining the continental champion of
Asia. It is the second oldest continental football championship in the
world after Copa América.

On 17 October 2022, the AFC announced that the tournament will be

held in Qatar. Due to the high summer temperatures and Qatar's
participation in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the tournament was
postponed to 12 January–10 February 2024, while retaining the original
name for sponsorship purposes.
