NAW JOB NO - R 18278 Ref: PO No 0-847 Dated 01.06.2023 for 5 Nos Gear Boxes on NAW Kolkatta Sub: Inspection clearance dated 27.01.2024 1. Further to Internal inspection Reports and Raw Material test reports submitted already by NAW, the following inspection were carried out jointly on 27.01.2024 in presence of Mr MN Chandrasekaran, Technical Advisor, VAID. These were reviewed jointly are as under — a. All 5 Gear boxes were inspected for critical dimensions and marked in the drawing and found to be OK b. 04 following units out of OSnos were Run tested for performance. The run test Inspection Record Sheets are enclosed. -CSC 200 having gear box sI no HZ 62 -CSC 180 having gear box sI no HZ 61 -CSC 160 having gear box sI no HZ 63 -CSC 140 having gear box sl no HZ 65 -CSC 160 having gear box sI no HZ 64 c. Photos of all 5 gearboxes were taken and are as enclosed. d. From the joint inspection & testing, it is observed that same are in line with internal reports already submitted. 2. With the above, the final inspection of all 05 no gear boxes are completed. 3. With this, NAW can submit to VAID, Cochin office, for despatch clearance. 4. Other formalities like painting, packing, fumigation etc., shall be as per PO terms and advice from VAID, Cochin office.5. This inspection completion does not absolve NAW of their Responsibility of Ensuring Satisfactory Performance at site and other PO terms and conditions.
