B.C. government cracking down on cellphones, internet content at schools

I Believe that what the BC government's is trying to improve and working with the youth

anput the possible risks and associated with children having access to phones while they are in

school and I agree with it. I have 2 nephews who are still in school and, I can see they are not a

100% pay attention to clasess for be on the phones or either watching reels, tik toks, etc, but

now parents are voiced concerns about the posibility what that young students are exposed to,

especially during unstructured periods such as lunch breaks and recess but of course its not just

the phones, in some parts in Canada have allowed to use computers with access to internet too, I

think they might be back to use nootebooks and learn and think and stop using AI.

According to Naomi Buck children in canada aged of 7 to 11 at leasst the 90 percent has

a phone. But all of these phones' apps put profit ahead of the safety of children. Research

showing the serious risks connected to youths using cellphones frequently is what motivated the

decision to limit their use in schools. The first province who finally is trying to fix these issues is

Ontario is aware that there is a chance of being exposed to predators, cyberbullying, sextortion,

and addictive algorithms. highlights the importance of a concentrated learning environment and

notes that cellphone use in the classroom can be disruptive.

The goal is to encourage responsible and polite use of technology, not to totally

closed it. The government's emphasis on fostering a safe school environment where students can

learn responsible cellphone use practices highlights its dedication to helping young people form

healthy habits.

Furthermore, the government's effort to train students in digital literacy represents a

thorough approach. With the knowledge and resources, they need to protect themselves from

online predators, this course aims to enable students to responsibly navigate the digital world.

One crucial component of online safety is addressing the launch of services to stop the

distribution of explicit images and seek damages from those who distribute them.

To sum up, the governments of British Columbia are working to bring about significant

changes for our children's future; we cannot simply continue as we are. The effort to balance the

advantages and disadvantages of technology use among youth is admirable, as evidenced by the

inclusion of cellphones in schools. The government is not only the one who must finish with all

of these, most important thing is the parents, who are also addictive to all these crazy virtual live,

it’s important to be part of the world and be the example for the small ones.
