Thai M1 Students.
The 70% of the total population in Baan Mae-chan School are not interested to study
English and they don’t know the importance of studying the language. This research aims to
develop a new mobile-based Application to enhance the supplementary English skills of Thai
M1 students. English is a mandatory subject in the Thai education system and being taught every
day. They are still facing difficulties in developing a good education system. The existing
learning resources and materials are not up-to date and adapting to new resources are being
developed nowadays that should be utilized. This is resulting a low competency in English
language proficiency.
There are several problems and its factors, including the limited availability of interactive
and engaging learning materials, limited access to personalized language learning resources, and
a lack of opportunities for students to practice and apply English language skills outside the
classroom. Moreover, Traditional method of teaching is focusing more on Grammar and even the
Thai teachers are holding back because it is hard for them to teach grammar. They also focused

available resources like smartphones in the classroom among M1 students. The teaching
techniques will use a mobile applications and website learning platform to help students learn
gamification elements, and personalized feedback mechanisms to engage students and promote
active participation in English language learning. By using these Mobile Applications, it is more
convenient for users and accessible for language practice. The application and teaching
techniques aims to enhance students' supplementary English skills and improve their overall
proficiency. It will also identify the effectiveness of the application in improving English
language skills, especially on areas such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
