Introduction
Congratulations on having completed the Virtual Development Centre.

Development Centers observe and measure competencies that are representative of the proficiencies
required on the job. It stresses on understanding the developmental aspects of the individual. It employs
multiple tools and facilitators to remove bias and maximize objectivity. The Development Centre was
designed around the organisation's Competency Framework, developed through extensive consultations
with senior leaders. Each of the competencies have been identified as skills or behaviors required to be
demonstrated in order to succeed in most roles.

Virtual Development Center is targeted at:

• Identifying the capability gaps in the individuals

• Preparing individuals for their current as well as future roles

• Creating and implementing learning journeys for individuals to bridge the capability gap

As part of the Virtual Development Center exercise, you would have completed the following exercises:

In-basket Exercise: Required to familiarize with the situation at a hypothetical organization using data
provided; then answered emails in the inbox of the Protagonist in the organization within limited time

Case Study : Required to go through the reading materials of a Case Study and answer questions based on
the Case Study in written format

Role Play: Required to interact with an assessor to solve the challenges at hand basis a hypothetical situation

Personality Inventory: Required to choose the most appropriate and the least appropriate trait-based
statement for self

It is essential to note that the report focuses observations based on the competencies exhibited during the
assessment centers rather than the “right or wrong” responses to the situations or the tasks presented. We
hope that the report provides you with a greater understanding of the individual self, potential strengths &
development areas.
