RASULULLAH S.A.W. AND BLIND JEWISH BEGGERS

One day, In the corner of the Medina Al-Munawarah

market, there was a Jewish beggar. When someone
approaches him, he always says, "O my brother, don't
approach him Muhammad, he is a madman, he is a liar,
he is a sorcerer."
Every morning Rasulullah came to him by bringing
food, and without saying a word Rasulullah bribe the
food he brought to the beggar even though the beggar
always told him not to do not approach a person
named Muhammad. Rasulullah did it until he is pass
away.
After the prophet demise, There was no one brings
food every morning to the Jewish beggars.
One day Abubakar r.a visited his daughter Aisyah
r.ha's house. He asked his son, "My daughter, is there
any sunnah that I have not done",
Aisyah r.ha answered his father's question, "O your fa-
ther you are an expert on sunnah, almost no sunnah
that you have not done, except one sunnah."
"What is that?", asked Abubakar r.a.
“Every morning Rasulullah always go to the end of the
market with brought food to a Jewish beggar.", said
Aisyah r.ha.
The next day Abubakar r.a. go to the market with food
for he gave it to the beggar. Abubakar r.a came to the
beggar and gave him the food to him. When Abubakar
r.a. started to feed him, the beggar got angry while
shouting, "Who are you?".
Abubakar r.a answered, "I am an ordinary person".
"No! You are not someone who usually comes to me,"
answered the blind beggar.
The person who usually delivers food here is a gentle
person, who always give me food without it being diffi-
cult for me to chew it." the beggar continued his
words.
Abubakar r.a. Unable to hold back his tears, he cried
while saying to the beggar That, I'm not someone who
usually comes to you, I'm one of those His friend, that
noble person was gone. He is Muhammad Rasulullah.
After the beggar heard the story of Abubakar r.a. he
cried and then said, “Is that true?, all this time I have
always insulted him, slandered him, he never scold me
even a little bit, he comes to me with food every morn-
ing, I see noble “.
The blind Jewish beggar finally took the shahada wit-
nessed by Abubakar’s friend. “Ashadu ala ila ha illah,
washadu Anna Muhammadurosulullah”.
