Hello everyone!

Today I will present you a very famous book that I had to read during the last summers holidays. So,
before the presentation of the book, let’s talk about few things about the author.

So, Mathilda is a very famous children’s fantasy narrative, written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by
Quentin Blake.

Roald Dahl is a British author who was born in 1916 and died in 1990. He remains a very famous
author today and appreciate because he is the author who wrote very famous books, as Charlie and
the chocolate factory or even the witches.

Mathilda made his first apparition on the first of October, in 1988, in United Kingdom.

Mathilda is a story talks about a little girl very clever. Her parents are not proud of her because the
education and books don’t interest them, they prefer watching TV.

One day, Mathilda is finally listed at school, but there, she could discover how her headmistress (Miss
Trunchbull) is horrible and mistreats students.

Hopefully, Mathilda’s professor (Miss Honey) is extraordinary caring with her students. In more
Mathilda and she will make a close relation.

One day, Mathilda discovered that she has a superpower. She can move objects without touching
them.

Mathilda and Miss Honey will manage to use it to make the headmistress leave the school.

My favourite moment is when the headmistress forced a boy to eat a very big cake

completer

By the way, I enjoy eating so it can be another explication.

Mathilda was also adapted to a musical and then a film.

Thanks all.
