LANE RESTRICTIONS
FOR
BELCO POLE INSTALLATION

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5th, 2024, THROUGH WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27th, 2024.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that Crow Lane and Lane Hill in Paget
will experience temporary lane restrictions to accommodate the installation of new BELCO poles.

To accommodate cliff repair works, the temporary lane restrictions will commence on Monday, February
5th, 2024, and continue until Wednesday, February 7th, 2024.

The works shall occur between 9 am and 4pm on those specified days. BELCO representatives will manage
traffic control with cones and signs.

Motorists are advised to use caution when passing on Crow Lane and Lane Hill.

The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any
inconvenience that may result.

IN SOUTHAMPTON PARISH
ROAD CLOSURE
FOR
ROOF REMOVAL ON WATER TANK

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5th, 2024, THROUGH MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12th, 2024.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the public that Tribe Road No. 3 at the junction of South
Road in Southampton will have a road closure to accommodate the placement of a crane to remove the
roof of a water tank.

The road closure will commence on Monday, February 5th , 2024, and will continue until Monday, February
12th , 2024.

The Work shall take place between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm daily.

Island Construction representatives will close the road section with barricades and signs. For safety
purposes, no vehicular access will be granted through this section.

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route via St. Anne's Road to access Tribe Road No. 3.

The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any
inconvenience that may result.

BERMUDA UNION OF TEACHERS - 0.Sk, 2.6k & Sk RUN/WALK

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4th, 2024

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the Bermuda Union of Teachers
0.5k, 2.6k and Sk Run/Walk will occur on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, between 8:30 am and 11:00
am. The following roads will be affected:

RACE ROUTES: The 0.Sk race commences at the BGA Parking Lot on Mill Reach Road. The
participants must turn left onto Pitts Bay Road and then make another left
to the finish line at Mill Creek Road.

The 2.6k race commences at the BGA Parking Lot on Mills Reach Road. The
racers then make a right onto Pitts Bay Road. They continue on the course
with left turns at Serpentine Road, Woodlands Road, and St. John's Road.
They return to Pitt's Bay Road to the finish line.

The Sk race commences at the BGA Parking Lot on Mills Reach Road. The
participants then make a right onto Pitts Bay Road. They continue on the
course with left turns at Serpentine Road and Woodlands Road. They turn
right onto Euclid Avenue, then left onto St. John's Road, with a right turn
at Berkeley Road. Participants continue with left turns onto North Shore
Road and St. John's Road. They then turn right onto Pitts Bay Road to the
finish line.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: The running/walking race will commence on Sunday, February 4th, 2024,
at 8:30 am and is expected to conclude by 11.00 am. Road Marshals will
be placed along the routes to direct traffic. For the Sk route, Road Marshals
will also be located at junctions.

ROAD CLOSURES: There will be no road closures. All motorists are expected to use caution
and avoid collisions with race participants. The race route will be under the
control of Race Officials. Motorists are asked to follow the instructions
given by the Race Officials to assist with traffic control for this event.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and
apologizes for any inconvenience that may result. Should there be any questions regarding this

In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorized to "Close-Off' streets or portions of
streets and authorize parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
