Statement of Purpose

I am writing to express my earnest desire to pursue the Diploma of Health Science followed by the Bachelor
of Health Science program at the South Australian Institute of Business and Technology (SAIBT), leading to
the University of South Australia (UniSA). My name is Vanshika, and I am a resident of India, born on the
4th of July, 2005. I got 74% in 10th and 63.5% in Medical stream in 12th. These experiences inspired me to
pursue higher education in health sciences.

My decision to undertake the Diploma of Health Science and subsequently the Bachelor of Health Science
at SAIBT is driven by my deep-seated commitment to contributing meaningfully to the healthcare sector.
Growing up in Australia has exposed me to the diverse and inclusive healthcare system of this country,
inspiring my ambition to be a part of it.

I am drawn to the SAIBT program due to its comprehensive curriculum, practical learning opportunities,
and esteemed association with the University of South Australia. The dual qualification will provide me with
a strong foundation in health sciences and open doors to diverse career pathways within the healthcare
industry.

Furthermore, being single and fully dedicated to my academic pursuits, I am eager to immerse myself in the
Australian academic and cultural environment. The prospect of studying at SAIBT and Uni SA presents a
unique opportunity to not only enhance my academic knowledge but also to engage with the vibrant
community and gain valuable practical experience.

I wish to work as a Health Counselor. The reason is in this designation I can work with individuals, groups or
communities. I will encourage the clients to discuss their emotions and experiences which are the cause of
the suffering. Besides, a health counsellor also guides patients to overcome their anger, abuse, depression
and various other psychological problems.
A Health Counselor is an essential part of any hospital. So, I have a bright career working in the top reputed
hospitals of India like Apollo Hospital, Max Hospital or Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre.
