SYNOPSIS
It was great news for Snigdha and her family when they got to know that she was pregnant.
Happiness blooms in the air and in every corner of the mansion for the descendant of the
family has arrived.
But Snigdha’s world was turned upside down when her doctor found out that the child in
her womb is going die very soon & she needs urgent foeticide. At midnight, when everyone is
asleep, Snighda’s bedside telephone suddenly rings & a child’s voice tells her “Mother! I am
not dead – still alive! everyone in the house wants a boy, but as she is a girl, they want her
dead”
Snigdha refuses to abort the child, and the chaos begins. The unborn child, Nandini makes
her mother aware about every upcoming danger and planned accidents which would lead to
miscarriage of the child.
The story is a journey of a mother to fight and protect her daughter from danger and letting
her daughter be born against all odds.
At the end of story, we get to know about the truth about how Nandini managed to speak
with her mother from her mother’s womb.

LONG STORY
NANDIDNI
In Kolkata, Snigdha , a middle-class Bengali girl got married to a handsome boy, Ritam, of a
rich family which owned a big & well-known Jewellery store – DHAN LAXMI JAMES &
JEWELLERY. She was happy with her caring husband and her new family. After a few
months she got pregnant and it was a big news for the family because a mother-in-law and
father-in-law were more caring to her than ever before. Sigdha’s husband Ritam told her
the bad news. Snigdha need to go through a surgery. At the time of morning check-up, the
doctor found out that child in her womb is dead.
This required immediate medical attention because the dead child may pose a life threat to
Snigdha. Snigdha’s happiness, dreams, fantasy world about her new coming baby broke like
house of cards. She agreed to abort the unborn next morning. At the middle of night, when
everyone is asleep suddenly the bed side phone rings. Snighdha, who was unable to
overcome the trauma of her dead child, was the only one awake in the house, she picks up
the phone ...... There is no voice from the other side, after asking several times “who is
there?’ the voice of a child sounds her answer Snigdha ask her “who are you?” She replies
that her name is Nandini and she is her child – she is not dead – she is still alive.
LONG STORY
She is talking to her mother from Snighdha’s womb. This may sound weird in the middle of
night but Nandini told her about a strange fact. In this business family by tradition every
first child who was born is a male child. They believe this first boy child will become the
most successful mother(Snighdha).
The Journey begins .... Snigdha starts to protect her child from that moment onwards She
refuses to abort the child, and the chaos begins. descendant has arrived in their family.
Happiness blooms in the air in every corner of the mansion. Her husband, A few months
later after a regular check-up, in the evening suddenly the world turned around descendant
in every generation to grow the business. But Nandini is a girl and that is why they want to
abort her, keeping her concealed from her. Every day Nandini, in the middle of night makes
her aware about the upcoming danger, a planned accident which would lead to miscarriage
of the child. Day by day everyone’s true form is revealed and Snigdha comes to know how
desperate this family to abort this girl child.
The story is a Journey of a mother who revolutionised against the gender discrimination of
a new- born, to fight and protect her girl child and letting her be born against all odds. The
story ends after the birth of NANDINI and the audience gets to know about the mystery
about how Nandini managed to speak with her mother over the telephone.
