UNVEILING THE MAKING OF "RIZAL REVIVED"

As a group of dedicated college students, we set out to create "Rizal Revived," an online
journal/magazine that serves to enlighten while simultaneously captivating its readers. We will
create an interactive presentation with images, riddles, mini-games, and essays to make history
more engaging and entertaining. This intimate look inside our production process reveals how we
came up with our ideas and emphasizes the core of our message on the lasting impact of Rizal on
today's youth. Jose Rizal's writings remain not only highly relevant in our modern era but also
undeniably rich. Unfortunately, the appeal of his works for the younger generation has lessened
and the beauty of his works has gone unappreciated. Thus, our project aims to launch a dedicated
digital magazine showcasing Jose Rizal's literary contributions. Recognizing the busy schedules
of college students, we intend to deliver easily digestible content optimized for mobile
consumption. Reading Jose Rizal's works can be time-consuming, posing a challenge to engaging
students with their profound content.

A. The Project's Captured Ideas About Rizal and Their Complexity:

In our approach to publications, we aim to integrate historical background with modern-
day comparisons. In "Rizal: A Rebel with a Cause," for example, we explored his revolutionary
spirit in-depth, making parallels to the hopes and struggles of young people today who are fighting
for social change.

Images: Context-based Timelines

We will use an interactive timeline to capture Rizal's complicated progression. Simplifying
decades of history into an interesting visual presentation was the difficulty. We capture important
events via thorough research and imaginative design, inviting people to go into and understand
Rizal's journey.

We will include mini-games and riddles throughout the digital diary since we know college
students would not be interested in conventional learning techniques. In addition to being a fun

To encourage creativity, creating an interactive zone with a contemporary art display and

To tell Rizal's narrative clearly and powerfully, the prose must be high quality. Each piece
was revised numerous times to balance being historically accurate and having fascinating
storylines. We aimed to do more than only enlighten; we wanted to engage readers so they would
want to learn more about Rizal's life and work.

Integrating social media: Making It Easy to Share and Understand

We knew how important it was for people to share our information online, so we made sure
it was simple to share on social media. Our message is more straightforward with catchy headlines,
concise information, and eye-catching images. To encourage participation and foster a sense of
community, the hashtag #RizalRevivedChallenge was purposefully included.

CONCLUSION

When doing "Rizal Revived," our members were very into the depth and originality of
telling Rizal's tale. Minigames, riddles, and interactive timelines are creative tools that help bring
together historical concepts with contemporary relevance, which is the project's core. Our
dedication to precise and well-written prose reflects our aim to ensure that college students can
understand and enjoy Rizal. We hope that by removing obstacles to conventional education, we
may encourage a new generation to identify with Rizal's principles, which will, in turn, encourage
them to think critically and reevaluate their sense of personal responsibility. Rather than just
another online diary, "Rizal Revived" exemplifies how art can reignite a topic's historical
significance.

The digital magazine shall illustrate the life and works of Rizal in a way that young Filipino
college students can relate to which will help guide them with Rizal's teachings. This shall be done
by including articles that summarize Rizal's works and illustrate his novels' teachings by applying
them in the modern setting. Visual aids such as images and illustrations shall be included to help
readers visualize the articles and keep their attention to the magazine. It shall also include mini-
games and puzzles to test the reader’s knowledge and keep them entertained as they read the
magazine.
