Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the main health problems and causes of death worldwide
which is an infectious disease caused by bacillus Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Transmission occurs when a person infected with TB expels bacteria into the air and is
inhaled by another person. By involving the role of networks in the discovery of TB
suspect cases, it is hoped that it can suppress TB events. To follow up on this, a TB
mitigation policy with a TB elimination strategy is needed to achieve elimination by
2030. The purpose of this study was to look at the relationships that affect the scope of tb
suspect discovery. This type of research is quantitative research with observational
methods and using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is purposive
sampling. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square. The results
showed that from 44 respondents, 26 (59.1%) low coverage and 18 (40.9%) high
coverage were found in finding suspected TB cases. In addition, it can be seen from the
ability with coverage to have a relationship with -value = 0.016, coordination with
coverage shows a relationship with -value = 0.003 and service with coverage shows a
relationship with -value = 0.000.The advice given is to passively increase the discovery
of TB suspects supported by active promotion and involve the role of the Puskesmas
Network.
