A bearing is dependent on several parame-
ters to reach maximum performance. It
must be as round as possible to distribute
loads in an optimum way.
And it is the housing that makes the bear-
ing round. The bearing seat shape inside the
housing is directly related to roundness.
When applying the same measurements
in a Bearing Life Simulation tool, it has been
proven that the SKF housing can significantly
increase bearing life.

and vibrations are present. This enables up
to 25% increased bearing life, offering you

have an integrated flange that guides grease
from the fitting directly to the bearing. This
can reduce grease consumption and disposal

Evacuation hole
The grease level indicators help reduce
grease consumption by indicating 20% and
40% grease fill.
Grease collection is made safe and easy
by a V suffix with drilled, taped and plugged
grease evacuation hole. The hole is now
located at the side, allowing for simple
access.

are cast into the housing base.
