SCIENCE REPORT

(Grade 3)

Science is the study of the world through observation, including listening, watching,
observing, and documenting. Science is the application of intellectual inquiry into the
nature of the world. Anyone can think scientifically. Children enjoy science because it
allows them to use their imagination and creativity.

I always let the kids tidy their desks and chairs first in my science classes. Then refer
to recall the lesson we covered last time and connect it to the discussion we’ll be having
today. For instance, the weather was the focus of our fourth-grade unit. I asked the
students how the weather was today while letting them look out the window.
Additionally, I enjoy teaching pupils in Grade 3 because they are imaginative and
creative thinkers who love to ask questions. Since I teach science, I make sure that the
students in my class use their imagination. For instance, I let them draw the natural
items they saw during the day and at night. I also instructed them to use imagination in
order to produce an incredible drawing. Fortunately, students are so active and
participating that they create work that is quite lovely, and as a teacher, I am delighted
to witness that. The third graders loved telling me they want to draw or play a game that
relates to our topic of a discussion. They were allowed to play "Message Relay, with a
Twist." I will pose a question, and the group leader will respond and relay the answer to
the rest of the group. Although we try our best to stop it, there are some kids who can't
help but tear up when they lose. I really enjoyed watching them work together and
collaborate to win. I constantly reassure them that there will be another chance because
it is all in good fun.

At the level of elementary school, teaching science should aim to foster students'
comprehension of fundamental scientific ideas as well as their scientific literacy and
critical thinking skills. Instilling a love and respect for science in young kids is one of the
goals of elementary education in science. Kids must comprehend how science works
and why it is important because it is such an integral component of our world.
