Sculpted from the Big Bang’s creation, The Zero Point is the

source of our world and every world in fiction. As an orb of

energy unlike any other, the Zero Point cycles power from
everything that ever has been and ever will be.
A Universe is called a Reality.
Realities have infinite variations in what is called a Multiverse.
Every Multiverse composes what is called The Omniverse:
everything.
And the Zero Point is connected to them all, oscillating
through the power of countless realities every second, making it
quite a battery. It can also open a portal to any time and reality,
but only when attuned — else it will always cycle between
them. If you happen to touch it at this state, your body
will disintegrate and be lost to the Omniverse.
Everything natural is in tune with the Zero Point, but it tends to
resonate more with frequencies: music, the sound of crystals,
and the vibration of worlds themselves are all interconnected
and influenced by the Zero Point. Sometimes, it
even communicates through them.
Such power has caught the attention of powerful people, but the
one who exploited the Zero Point most was just a man of
genetics: Geno, founder and leader of The Imagined Order (IO),
a major antagonist in the story. The heroes that fight against
it, The Seven, are more careful with the Zero Point’s power.
As a peaceful yet sentient force of nature, the Zero
Point protects itself by clearing its surroundings every 22
minutes — sending all nearby sentient beings back in time and
space. The IO combined these natural defenses with their own
technology to imprison people in the name of science
inside The Loop, Fortnite Battle Royale’s gameplay.
The IO wants to control the Zero Point whereas the Seven battle
for its freedom. However, both sides have consequences to
their actions, as shown throughout the game’s history.
By containing & exploiting the Zero Point, it can destabilize —
leaving the surrounding Island and its people at risk of
exploding. The Island is a natural fortress that the Zero Point
forges by bringing chunks from different worlds to keep itself
hidden from prying eyes. So, it can always be rebuilt.
By freeing the Zero Point, it can bloom — releasing more and
more energy that turns the Island’s flora into a beacon of
immense power, attracting threats from beyond reality. If the
Zero Point can sense imminent danger, it will also bring
powerful artifacts from various universes into the Island, as a
warning.
Fun Facts:
 The Zero Point’s name references two concepts
in physics; the origin of a nuclear blast (in this case, a
bigger one: The Big Bang), and the lowest possible energy
for systems in quantum mechanics.
 Its first codename was “Nexus Orb”.
