WHAT IS CENT OS?

CentOS (short for Community ENTerprise Operating System) a


popular Linux distribution that was based on the source code of Red
Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Free and open-source alternative to RHEL while maintaining binary
compatibility with it.
This made CentOS a popular choice for organizations and individuals
who wanted the stability and reliability of RHEL without the
associated costs.
