I first met Baba, my Father-in-Love, 25 years ago when I embarked on the

beautiful journey of marriage with his son, Idowu Owolabi. From the very
beginning, it was evident that I had entered into a God-fearing family, a family
that graciously welcomed and embraced me as their own. The privilege of
being a part of this family has been an immense blessing.

Baba was not just a father-in-law; he was a father figure who stood close to us,
offering words of encouragement, love, and wisdom. His presence in our lives
was a source of strength and stability. Baba's unwavering support made our
journey together all the more beautiful.

One of the cherished memories I hold close to my heart is the time Baba
traveled several kilometers to be with us when we welcomed our daughter
into the world in Kano. His joy knew no bounds as he held his granddaughter,
praying for her with a heart full of love and blessings.

The news of Baba's departure from this world brings profound sadness to our
hearts. However, we find solace in the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of
love, faith, and family values. Baba's impact on our lives will forever be
remembered, and his spirit will continue to guide us.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, let us celebrate the life of Pa James
Oyedele Owolabi—a man of honor, integrity, and deep compassion. May his
