Reflection paper about Occupational Health and Safety Procedures (OHS)

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a very important thing to remember and know so that we
can avoid possible accidents present in any places. OHS is all about keeping everyone safe
especially when working. OHS is like a simple guide to our jobs for us to know how to handle and
avoid possible accidents, it is not just about gaining knowledge and learning but it is also about
sharing it with others so that they may know the do’s and don’ts of certain things around them, they
can also know how important in wearing PPE or personal protective equipment.
Learning about OHS makes me realize a lot of things in life, especially in my specialization, fixing
and assembling wires are one of the things that I know how to do, but in the past I am a very
careless worker and I do not wear basic PPE like gloves. Now that I have gained knowledge I take
cautions and warnings very seriously, for me now, it's not just about following rules but caring for
myself and other by sharing what I have learned. Now, it helps us focus on tasks without worrying
about getting hurt.
My infographic shows signage shows how to avoid and know the basic things on how to handle
possible cause of accidents in line with electricity. It show reminders and different kinds
information for us to be aware and keep our family safe. The things that I include in my
infographics are the basic ones that can we may experience in our home, work or surroundings.

In simple terms, following OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) procedures is crucial to create a
safe and secure workplace, ensuring everyone's well-being.
