Dear Millie and Mike

Read the following letters to advice columnists Millie and Mike. On a separate sheet of paper,
write responses to the letters, giving appropriate advice.

Scenario A
Dear Millie and Mike,
My son is at a rough city school where education isn’t a priority! I don’t want to see him drop
out and deal drugs like the others, but I can't afford the tuition! I don’t know what to do… the
system is destroying all these kids and there are no solutions!
Signed, Virginia

Scenario B
Dear Millie and Mike,
I met a boy at a friend’s house. We texted each other. Then I got some really creepy, sexy
texts from him. What should I do now? Help!
Signed, Jill

Scenario C
Dear Millie and Mike,
I am on the school basketball team. One of the guys on the team was goofing around and took
pictures of me and the other guys without permission. They weren’t bad pictures, but he sent
them to his friends, and they put them on a social networking site! I want them to take the
pictures down. What can I do?
Signed, Doug

Scenario D
Dear Millie and Mike,
I want to be a fashion designer. I like trying out different looks. I want to put pictures of myself
wearing various outfits on social media so I can get feedback from friends and other people.
Do you think this is a good idea? What should I watch out for?
Signed, Tiffany

Scenario E
Dear Millie and Mike,
I have a computer in my room. My parents told me not to go into Internet chat rooms with
adults. But I really like to chat about trains and model railroading, so I do it anyway. So far it is
cool. Will I get into trouble? What should I do if my parents find out?
Signed, Jake
