paragraph in 20th century there were over 100,000tigers living in the wild, however in

21th century numbers of tigers outside of captivity was just over 3,000. The reason

that the population of tigers decreased about 97,000 is because human hunt the

tigers and destroyed tiger’s habitat. People hunted tigers to earn money by selling

tiger’s striped skins and tiger’s bone to make Chinese traditional medicine. Also

people had a game hunting tigers to have fun. The biggest reason for the extinction

of tigers is that people have changed the environment. People changed forests to

farm and this caused the tiger's habitat to be destroyed.

rewilded a small number of South China tigers. This shows people can increase the
