All your notes will be on Moodle. You need to go through your notes and make summaries in a
notebook.

You will be given plenty of notice as to when the cycle test / examination is going to be written
and which modules will be tested.

How do I prepare for assessments?

Make sure that you start preparing well in advance for the cycle test and always plan for
unexpected interruptions.
Be an active learner – when going through your notes, make summaries and mindmaps. Put
things in your own words so that you understand it.
Make sure that you have everything you need for the cycle test / examination in terms of
stationery.

All quizzes, H5Ps must be done before the due date. Make sure that you first go through your
notes before attempting them. They do count towards your term mark and can make a
difference in your marks.

Case study must be done on or before the due date. Make sure that you allow yourself time to
do it and try and aim to have it completed a few days before the deadline. Remember, be
prepared for any unexpected delays – loadshedding whilst trying to upload the assignment.
