sight reading examples that you'll practice outside of
class.

Make sure to follow along with each week and not

work ahead.

At the end of the book, you'll find additional sight

reading exercises that you can use to continue
practicing sight reading after the completion of this
class.

HOW TO PRACTICE
This week you'll focus on doing one exercise per practice
session. The topics are note reading or intervals.

The double bar line notes the end of an exercise.

For each practice session choose ONE exercise to focus on

(just a few measures).

The goal is to get it as accurate as possible with as many

repetitions as possible.

Go slow.

You can break things down into one-measure chunks if needed.

Feel free to write in the answers at first and erase them after a
few practice sessions.
