HCM Processes and Forms is that framework, enabling companies to adapt processes to their
business needs and to analyse the effectiveness of those processes. Corporate human capital
management (HCM) processes vary, often dramatically, from company to company.
There are 02 types is the possible ways we can use HCM P&F:
Scenario process :

1. Go to TCode – HRASR_DT
2. Create a Process by selecting the Process from the Dropdown.
3. Save .
4. Give the Description, restriction for running process and Pattern ID for number as given in
the Screen shot

9. Now go to the backend services and create a Backend service if required. You will create a
backend service only you feel that the fields that are to be used for the forms cannot be
used from standard.
10. After creation of the Backend service . Go to the Definition and add the name of the
backend service that you had created. The name is maintained in the table V_5ASRFSCNSRV
11. Click on functionality by BADI button and create an implementation of the standard BADI
12. After you create the implementation. Go to filter values and add the data <Implementing
BADI Name> = <SERVICEID>

13. In the Badi implementation, there are few methods that have to be used.
Initialize
DO_OPERATIONS
INITIALIZE method gets called when the process is run for the first time and it runs only for
one time.
DO_OPERATIONS method gets called every time we click the SEND or CHECK Button in the FPM
Form.
14. Add all the fields in the Backend service if it is a custom field, and add all the standard fields
to the Standard PA service available.
18. Also create an operation by customizing for the custom fields that are created are to be used in
the Backend process
19. You also need to create the Operation through customization in the table or through SPRO as
given below. Table name : V_5ASRFSCNGSMAP

20. If you want to add an ATTACHMENT in the form you can add it in the below table
Table Name : V_5ASRATTACHMENT
21. If you want to add any additional Information on the Form you can add it using the Additional
Information Tab

23. The operation i.e INITIALIZATION that you had created earlier needs to be maintained in the
User Events Tab
Last but not the least why you would not want to use HR forms and Process FPM Based…….
