AN ACT GRANTING PRIORITY TO RESIDENTS OF THE BARANGAY, MUNICIPALITY OR CITY WHERE THE SCHOOL IS LOCATED IN THE APPOINTMENT OR ASSIGNMENT OF CLASSROOM PUBLIC TEACHERS
Composed of fifteen (15) sections and includes the following:
Section 1: Says that the barangay, city and/or municipality should prioritize the bona fide residents to serve and be allocated in the nearby public school possible for them to be assigned. This also includes that the appointment of the classroom public school teachers should take action and/or prescribed within three (3) months upon the issuance of assignment. Section 2: It says that this act includes the disciplinary action to any violation that follows; First violation: suspension of one (1) month without pay Second violation: suspension of two (2) months without pay Section 3: The Department of Education, Culture and Sports should allow the implementation of the rules and regulation upon the issuance of the appointment under this act. Section 4: Any decrees, rules and regulation under this act shall be implemented upn the issuance of the appointment. And; Section 5: This act shall be effective upon fifteen days of publication.
