INTERNAL APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Eligibility Requirements

• Full-time or Part-time employees must be employed with New Aim in their current position for at least 12
months of continuous employment.
• Employees most recent performance review must have achieved expectations and not the subject of a
formal disciplinary action or under performance improvement plan.
• Meets all requirements of the open position and holding a valid working visa in Australia.

Internal Application Process

• Employees should view open positions in the New Aim Career and review the requirements of the position
that are outlined on the job posting. If qualified, inform their direct manager of their intent to apply for an
open position.
• Internal candidates should submit their latest CVs as well as the Internal Application Form to Talent
Acquisition Specialist via recruitment@newaim.com.au to formally apply. (The Internal Application Form
can be found under HR Portal/Forms or New Aim Career or Dingtalk Company folder).
• The internal application will only be accepted while the position is available in New Aim Career. It is
recommended to apply for the role as soon as the employee has discussed with their manager.
• If an internal application is received when another candidate (internal or external) is reaching the final
stage, the application may not be considered.
• Once the application is formally received, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will review the application,
contact the employee’s current manager to confirm eligibility, and interview qualified/eligible internal
candidates.
• The Hiring Manager will assess all qualified applications of internal and external candidates to determine
who moves forward in the interview process and selects the most qualified candidate for the position. All
candidates will be notified the outcome of their internal application.
• If an internal candidate is offered the position, a transition date will be arranged by the Incoming Manager
and outgoing manager, followed by the internal transfer procedure.
• Additional background/performance checks may also be required. All hiring decisions will be made in
accordance with New Aim’s Employment of Relatives Policy and Australian Fair Work Legislations.
