IMPORTANT INST RUCT IONS FOR CANDIDAT ES

1. T he candidat e must reach t he Cent re at t he t ime as indicat ed against Report ing/Ent ry t ime at t he Cent re, in t he Admit
Card
2. No Candidat e should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examinat ion pract ices. If any candidat e is found
indulging in any unfair means/unfair examinat ion pract ices at any st age of examinat ion, his/her candidat ure will be
cancelled, and legal act ion will be t aken including debarring in all fut ure examinat ions conduct ed by NTA.
3. No candidat e shall be permit t ed to ent er aft er t he Gat e Closing T ime.
4. No candidat e shall be permit t ed to leave t he Examinat ion Room/ Hall before t he end of t he examinat ion.
5. Upon complet ion of t he examinat ion, please wait for inst ruct ions from t he Invigilator and do not get up from your seat
unt il advised. T he candidat es will be permit t ed to move out , one at a t ime only.
6. All candidat es are required to download and read carefully t he Inst ruct ions given wit h t he Admit Card and st rict ly adhere
to t hem.
7. T his Admit Card consist s of four Pages - Page 1 cont ains t he Cent re det ails and Self Declarat ion (Undert aking), Page 2
has “Import ant inst ruct ion for candidat es”, and Page 3 has “Import ant Advisory”, Page 4 is a Declarat ion from Non-Aadhar
Candidat es.
8. T he Admit Card is provisional, subject to sat isfying t he eligibilit y condit ions as given in t he Informat ion Bullet in.
9. Candidat es are advised to verify t he locat ion of t he t est venue a day in advance so t hat t hey do not face any problems
on t he day of t he t est .
10. If religion/customs require you to wear specific at t ire, please visit t he Cent re early for t horough checking and
mandatory frisking.
11. No Candidat e would be allowed to ent er t he Examinat ion Cent re, wit hout Admit Card and undert aking, Valid ID Proof,
and proper frisking.
12. All t he Examinat ion Cent res are under surveillance of CCT V and equipped wit h Jammers.
13. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
a. Personal transparent water bottle,
b. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
c. Admit Card downloaded from NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
d. Additional 01 passport-size photograph for pasting on the Attendance Sheet
e. Original valid ID proof
14. Before reaching t he Cent re, candidat es must ent er t he required det ails in t he Self Declarat ion (Undert aking) in legible
handwrit ing, past e t he Photograph, and put a t humb impression at t he appropriat e place on t he Admit Card. T hey should
ensure t hat t heir Left -Hand T humb Impression is clear and not smudged.
15. Candidat e must carry “Any one of t he original and valid Photo Ident ificat ion Proof issued by t he Government ” (must be
original, valid, and non-expired) – School Ident it y Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Vot er ID/ Passport / Aadhaar Card (Wit h
photograph)/E-Aadhaar wit h photograph/ Rat ion Card wit h photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card wit h photograph/ Bank
Passbook wit h Photograph. All ot her IDs/Photocopies of IDs even if at t est ed/scanned photos of IDs in t he mobile phone
will NOT be considered valid ID Proof.
16. PwD candidat e who have physical limit at ion in writ ing may be allowed Compensatory/ Ext ra t ime of 20 minut es per
hour of t he examinat ion, whet her such candidat e uses t he facilit y of Scribe or not .
17. PwD candidat es must bring a PwD cert ificat e issued by t he Compet ent Aut horit y if claiming relaxat ion under t he PwD
cat egory. T he Scribe provided by t he NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declarat ion (Undert aking) regarding
educat ional qualificat ion, passport -size photograph, and valid government ident it y.
18. For Drawing Test —Part III of B.Arch., t he candidat e must bring t heir own Geomet ry Box Set , Pencils, Erasers, and Colour
Pencils or Crayons. T he Candidat es are not allowed to use wat ercolours on Drawing Sheet .
19. Candidat es are NOT allowed to carry any ot her personal belongings, including elect ronic devices, or mobile phones to
t he Examinat ion Cent re. Examinat ion Officials will not be responsible for t he safekeeping of personal belongings and t here
will be no facilit y.
20. Shoes/foot wear wit h t hick soles and garment s wit h large but tons are NOT permit t ed.
21. If a candidat e goes for bio-break /toilet , he/she should undergo t he mandatory frisking and biomet ric again.
22. Apart from t he biomet ric at t endance and frisking at ent ry, candidat es will be frisked and biomet ric at t endance will be
t aken again on ent ry from bio-break/toilet s break.
23. Blank paper sheet s for rough work will be provided in t he examinat ion Hall/Room. Candidat es must writ e t heir name
and Roll Number at t he top of each of t he sheet (s) and must drop t he sheet /s in t he designat ed drop box wit hout fail,
before leaving t he Examinat ion Hall/Room. Failures to do so may result in a non-evaluat ion of your answers.
24. Duly filled in Admit Crd must be dropped in t he designat ed Drop Box while leaving t he Examinat ion Hall/Room. Failures to
do so may result in a non-evaluat ion of your answers.
25. T he candidat e should ensure t hat t he Quest ion Paper available on t he comput er screen is as per his/her opt ed
subject /medium indicat ed in t he Admit Card. In case t he subject /medium of t he Quest ion Paper is ot her t han his/her
opt ed subject /medium, t he same may be brought to t he not ice of t he Invigilator concerned.
26. If at any st age, it is found t hat t he candidat e has submit t ed mult iple applicat ions, his/her candidat ure will be cancelled,
and legal act ion will be t aken including debarring in all fut ure examinat ions conduct ed by NTA.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY

Dear Candidat es,

“We wish you all the best for your examination”

T he main purpose of t his Advisory is to make you aware t hat t he Nat ional Test ing Agency aims to conduct fair and
t ransparent examinat ions so t hat deserving candidat es only get t he right admissions or jobs. T herefore, it is advisable to
refrain from using any Unfair means pract ices to gain any unfair advant age over ot her candidat es.

1.Kindly note that in many cases;

i) Candidat ure has been cancelled and candidat es have been debarred for 3 years from appearing in t he exams.
ii) Criminal proceedings have been init iat ed in many cases where t he candidat es have t ried to
cheat /impersonat e/adopt malpract ices.
iii) St rict act ion has also been t aken including CBI Inquiry against t he wrong-doers.

2.Over the past few years, NTA has deployed many modern technologies to detect different types of malpractices. NTA
has a mechanism to;

(i) Analyze t he responses of t he t reat ed group wit h respect to cheat ing behaviour associat ed wit h t he exam by
observat ional dat a, int erest ing st at ist ical approaches, et c.
(ii)We use a non-int rusive t echnology to ident ify collaborat ion, we analyze t he quest ion at t empt ing logs to ident ify
suspicious similarit ies bet ween submit t ed responses. NTA also reviews candidat e exam logs to ident ify abnormal
answering behaviours and CCT V recordings of such candidat es are analyzed to confirm malpract ice wit h evidence.
(iii) Analyze t he behaviour of st udent s who passed t heir answers to ot her candidat es as opposed to candidat es who
received t hese answers.
(iv) Use of t echnologies to reveal cheat ing behaviour, even aft er t he exams, to reveal t he cheat ing occurrence
(v) Cat ch t he likely cheat ers t hrough Art ificial Int elligence-based tools.
(vi) We focus on cheat ing in t he form of seeking out side help during t he exam and cat ch hold on t his by implying
various t echnologies/tools. T he examinat ion cent res are cont inuously being monitored t hrough art ificial-enabled
syst ems.

3.It is crucial that you carefully read the following points to avoid facing any action;
(i) Use of elect ronic devices (including communicat ion tools and accessories) or st at ionery mat erials (including bit s
of paper) not relevant for t he said examinat ion is st rict ly prohibit ed.
(ii) Candidat es should upload t heir recent and clearly visible images during t he applicat ion process. Candidat es who
have uploaded poor-qualit y photographs or not his/her own photograph will be stopped at t he gat e.
(iii) NTA scrut inizes every candidat e t rying to appear more t han once by submit t ing mult iple applicat ion forms.
(iv) Candidat es are st rict ly advised to occupy only t he seat s allocat ed to t hem.
(v) Candidat es are advised not to move during t he exam including t alking/peeping or assist ing ot hers in t he exam).
(vi) If a candidat e goes for bio-break /toilet , he/she should undergo t he mandatory frisking and biomet ric again.
(vii) Apart from t he biomet ric at t endance and frisking at ent ry, candidat es will be frisked and biomet ric at t endance
will be t aken again on ent ry from bio-break/toilet s break.
(viii) Document s in relat ion to examinat ion viz. admit card, rank let t er, self-declarat ion, et c. are subject to verificat ion
for any manipulat ion and fabricat ion.
(ix) Candidat es should not creat e obst acles in t he smoot h and fair conduct of t he examinat ion.
 (x) Scribe accompanying t he Person wit h Disabilit y (PwD) should not solve t he quest ions. T he scribe must mark t he
response chosen by t he candidat e only. It shall also be ensured t hat t he qualificat ion of t he scribe/ Passage Dict ator
should not be more t han t he minimum qualificat ion crit eria of t he examinat ion. However, t he qualificat ion of t he
scribe /Passage Dict ator should be mat riculat ed or above.
