Now let's move on to the exterior perspective, where we can see the aerial view of the market.

We can see all of the materials and aspects that we considered outside here. In the truss,we all
can see the bamboo that is used as louvers, and also, as you look at here, we can see all the
bamboo that serves as louver blocks. We came up with this idea because it's sustainable and very
easy to find. It is glued together with an adhesive wood glue, and the edges are then drilled and
screwed into the metal railing to ensure that it won't fall off. Now let's move on to the arches that
are made up of bamboo and serve both aesthetics and shade for those who are walking around
the sidewalk. They are conjoined by circular metals attached to each bamboo and abaca rope to
strengthen the hold of the bamboo. And if we move to the back part of the floorplan, which is not
visible from our perspective, we can see the focal point of the market, which is the fountain. The
fountain is heavily based on the Balamban Festival that is held here in Santiago every May,
which explains the butterfly on top of the fountain. The main body of the fountain is also heavily
based on flowers, which act as a metaphor that a butterfly is landing on a flower to feed on its
nectar and collect pollen to transfer to other plants, just like us humans that go to the market and
go get all the necessary items or food and serve it to ourselves or share it with our family. Now
let's move on to the sitting area where you can eat all the food that you bought at the restaurants
or stalls, or simply if you are tired and simply want to rest. We chose a green color because it is a
lighter shade of color that reflects a lot of heat coming from the sunlight, which helps us reduce
the heat since it is an open area. We also incorporated garden pavement to provide some green
aspects in our design. If we look at the front of the market again,we can see the seasonal stalls.
These stalls, as my groupmates said, are replaced every season depending on the occasion. I put
a strong red color on the market stalls just to attract customers. In this perspective, I showed
stalls with bamboo covers to blend with our design. We also have some notable things that my
other groupmates have tackled, like the banana tree and many more.
