Study and Succeed in NB

The Study and Succeed in NB program provides international students essential tools, resources,
supports, and connections needed to launch a successful career and fulfilling life in New Brunswick.
The program launches with a mandatory three-day in-person conference (September 15 -17, 2023)
with a focus on many of the topics central to the program, including cultural adaptation, career and
labor market information, networking, community engagement, immigration pathways, professional
communication, and mentorship. All costs associated with the conference attendance are funded by
the Government of New Brunswick and ACOA, including accommodations, meals, and transportation.
Following the conference, participants will be required to continue building on these topics through a
combination of online asynchronous course work and virtual webinars. Students will receive ongoing
support and communication throughout the program from members of the International Student
Integration Team with Opportunities New Brunswick. The program is approximately four months in
duration.
The program is open to all international post-secondary students in New Brunswick studying at public
universities, community colleges and select private career colleges. Students who are studying in the
second half of their program of study will be eligible for the mentorship component as they near the
transition into professional life.
All successful participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
We invite all first year through graduating year international students in New Brunswick to apply for
one of the 100 available places.
