have most. inrecent years 've come to really
appreciate the craftsmanship ofthe Superman
ews strip ats, Win Mortimer. This sy tob-
worked during the “Adventures of Superman”
teleusion show staring George Reeves. Per
Information on Wikipedia, Mc Mortimer was
born in Canada on May", 1818 and passed
away on January 1, 1988,
‘Then theres popular radio and television talkshow host, Stove
Allen. He was boen In New York ity on December 26,1921 and
passed away on October 30, 2000. He was a household name
‘and from 1958 to 1957, he was the it talkshow host for “The
Tonight show” It was only natural he entered int the story
line because of (somewhat) his resemblance to Clark Kent. In
bindsight, he should have had George Reeves on his show.
you are purest at heart please note that took
Straitions, added back lost borders and restored
black areas from fae. | wanted to bring back =
much of the Win Mortimer ink and give the
reader clear perception of the craftsmanship.
Nota single ine was compromised. figured |
had only one shot doing this and | made the
decision to clean away anything that was not
Win Mortimer” Doesn't make sense to spent
countless hours on this personal project and
then present a grimey, substandard series of
panels 's Win Mortimer that fthe importance.
(Ok, 50 that’s about it. Enloy the amazing work
fof Win Mortimer from October 3, 1955 through
