1) Indefinite article a / an.

Use a before consonant sound.

Use an before vowel sound.

The indefinite article a / an is only used in singular.

2) Spelling rules for Plural forms:

 Add -s to a word in singular to form the corresponding plural.

Examples:

CHAIR__CHAIRS

 Add -es to words ending in -s, -sh, -ch, -x, and -o
