2.Customers advised to track for the arrival of their cargo at www.lontexcargo.com
3.Consignor declares that the consignment is free of any dangerous or hazardous goods as defined by relevant regulatory bodies and by legislation
4.Used computers, fridges, and televisions are not allowed into Uganda. Any such items smuggled into consignments may be impounded by Ugandan authorities and unlimited penalties imposed. Any such penalties
would be passed to the Consignor. Any other used electrical and electronic equipment shipped, must be in good working order.
5.Goods not picked within 7 working days (Monday - Saturday) of offloading at the destination as per this invoice may be disposed off.
6.Lontex or its agents will not be responsible for any loss or damage to cargo not collected after the 7th working day from date of arrival
7.Goods not picked after the 7th working day from the arrival date will be subject to a charge of £0.10 per kilogram per calendar day or 0.4% of this invoice's total payable amount per calendar day and Lontex or its agents
will still accept NO responsibility for loss or damage.

9.Goods would only be presumed missing if not received 2 months from expected-by date
10.Compensation payable for any loss or damage is limited to the repair costs of the item damaged, or if lost or damaged beyond repair, the replacement costs taking account of depreciation BUT compensation including
the shipment charged against this invoice, shall NOT in any circumstance exceed £150. (per shipment - tracking code)
11.Enhanced compensation for loss or damage is available up to a maximum of £1,500.00 compensation per claim against any single tracking code at extra charge of 3.5% of the consignment value.
12.Any claims for insured goods would have to be supported by original purchase receipts
13.Consignor must advise consignee to verify quantity, weight, and quality of the consignment before taking possession as Lontex would not under any circumstances entertain claims thereafter.
14.Vehicles shipped on Roll On Roll Off (RORO) service may be driven from port of discharge to their final destination and therefore must be in sound mechanical condition. Any repairs on broken down vehicles would be at
the consignor's expense.
15.Force majeure: Lontex shall not be liable for payment of compensation or refunds or otherwise for any delay or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond its control such as but not limited to: fire, flood, explosions,
adverse weather conditions, riots, governmental act, act of God, terrorism, war, airline or shipping line delays.
16.These conditions are governed by English laws and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
