Proper file naming is crucial
for operational efficiency and
to data management.

The following guidelines


serves as valuable insights to:

Save time.
Improve collaborations.
Avoid errors.
Use only alphanumeric
characters.
The 26 letters of the alphabet (a-z) and
the 10 Arabic numerals (0-9).

Avoid uppercase.
Whenever possible!
Do not use special
characters or spaces.

etc...

Use underscores
instead of spaces.
Spaces are not allowed in URLs, various
programming languages and some
operating systems.
Use date format ISO
8601.
YYYYMMDD.
Y for year, M for month, D for day.
