used to - то. что вы делали раньше. но сейчас уже не делаете. И наоборот, что не делали,
теперь делаете.
I used to smoke. Я раньше курил. (= I don't smoke now)
She used to work for the BBC. Она раньше работала на канале BBC. ( = she doesn't work
for the BBC now)
• Положительное предложение: местоимение used to + глагол.
• Отрицание: местоимение didn't use to + глагол.
He didn't use to do sports. Он раньше не занимался спортом. (= he does sports now)
• Вопрос: did + местоимение + use to + глагол:
Did you use to do sports? - Yes, I did. - No, I didn't.
