COMPREHENSIVE TEMPLATE FOR INFORMATION COLLECTION, AGREEMENT,

AND RELEASE
Thank you for your interest in the Analyst Program (the “Project”). Please read the description
below, and, if you are interested in participating, review and execute the Contributor Services
Agreement and Release.
TELUS International AI Inc (“TIAI”) is seeking participants to work across a variety of Task
types including but not limited to Search Relevance Tasks, Geo Mapping tasks, Audio tasks. TIAI
is collecting the information on behalf of a non-affiliated customer of TIAI, as described below.
Summary
Participants will be asked to log into an online Web Application accessible through a Web browser.
Participants will be able to qualify to work on a variety of Task types by reading Instructions and
completing online assessments. All Tasks will require online research to be completed. Examples
include researching if online search queries made by consumers return relevant and accurate
results.
The task can be completed remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Project Schedule
Projects have no fixed duration.
Each Task Type will show an Estimated Rating Time to complete the task: This can vary based on
the level of complexity of each task.
Please note that each participant can only complete the task once.
Requirements
● 18 + years of age
● You must own a Desktop PC or Laptop
● For Audio Tasks a Mic is required
● Access to and use of a broadband internet connection and associated computer to perform
the work, all provided at your own expense;
● In addition to the required language you must be fluent in written and verbal English;

Payment Rate (if applicable)

 ● Task Rates for each eligible Task you qualified for will be displayed on the AI Community
Portal
● This is an independent contractor opportunity.
● Payment will be processed via Hyperwallet. For the countries that Hyperwallet is not
available in, payment will be processed via bank transfer. For bank transfers we can only
accept account details held in your name and your country of residence.

Process of Data Collection: TIAI is collecting the information that you submit on behalf of a
non-affiliated customer in the tech Industry (“Customer”).
TIAI is collecting the information below to determine your eligibility to participate in a Project on
behalf of our Customer. If you meet the criteria established by our Customer, then we will proceed
with your application.

Data Collected: TIAI will collect the following information, which may be classified as personal
data or similar term, in the country in which you reside:
● Name
● E-mail address
● Phone number
● Address
● Primary Language Spoken
● Voice recording (For Audio Tasks)
● Payment information
● Device information
● IP address data

Data Controller:
TIAI, having its address at: 2251 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, is the data controller with
regard to the contract data and demographic data that we collect about you (as described more
fully in our Community Data Privacy Notice), which may include, for purposes of this Project,
your name, contact information, IP Address data, Proof of Identity and voice audio.
Our Customer is the data controller with regard to your name, e-mail address; physical address IP
address and voice recording in addition to any other information that you choose to submit in
connection with the Project (referred to as “Work Product Data”
Use:
TIAI’s Use of Your Contract Data and Demographic Data: TIAI will use your personal data for
the following purposes:
o Administrative Purposes: to contact you and, where applicable, to compensate
you for your participation in the Project, in accordance with applicable law;
o Project Purposes: to determine eligibility to participate in future projects;

o Our Own Marketing Purposes: where permitted by applicable law, if we believe

that you may be interested in participating in additional research studies;

o Contractual Purposes: to fulfill our contractual obligation with our Customer that
has commissioned the Project;

o Legal Purposes: to protect our rights and interests, your rights and interest, and
the rights and interests of our customers; and

o Other Purposes: As permitted by applicable law and as detailed in our Community

Data Privacy Notice, which is available at: Privacy Policy | TELUS International

Customer Use of Your Data: Our Customer will use your personal data for the purposes described
below:

● Project Purposes: to determine eligibility to participate in tasks

● Research Purposes: to improve performance of customer products and services

Sharing:
TIAI may share your personal data as follows:
● Our Service Providers: we share your banking/payment information with service
providers that assist us in compensating you for participating in the Project.
● Our Customer: we share certain Data that we collect through this Project, with the
exception of financial information, with our Customer. Our Customer will use the Data for
its own research purposes and as described in its privacy notice.
● For purposes set forth in any other notice provided to you and as set forth in our Community
Data Privacy Notice.

Data Subject Rights: In certain countries, you may exercise certain rights with regard to your
personal data. Please see our Community Data Privacy Notice for information about your rights.
Transfer of Data: We may transfer your data to a third country that does not have the same level
of data protection as your home country. Please see our Community Data Privacy Notice for
additional information.
Consent to the Collection of Personal Data:

above mentioned personal data from my submission. TIAI will retain the data until the end of the
year following the application year, unless: (1) a shorter period is required by applicable law; or
(2) a longer period is required for TIAI legitimate purposes, or by law.
