CLEANER, EASIER, MORE CONSCIOUS, FOR JUANA LA COLORADA!

The advantages of using a menstrual cup during your period.

Menstruation is the stage in which almost all women experience. The lining of the
uterus, the endometrium, is shed as blood and expelled through the vagina.

The blood is expelled for 6 to 10 days, depending on the individual woman. The
woman's blood waste is commonly stopped by sanitary napkins, tampons, cloth
wipes; these are usually not good for the environment as they are mostly made of
plastic, with the exception of the little known "Menstrual Cup". Let's remember that
plastic is not friendly to the environment or to our bodies.

IT IS THE MOST ECONOMICAL OPTION ON THE MARKET, AND IT LASTS UP

TO 10 YEARS! IMAGINE ALL THE MONEY YOU WILL SAVE!

The menstrual cup is made of a soft and flexible material, such as rubber or
silicone, the menstrual cup does not absorb, but collects the menstrual flow, so it
does not dry or irritate the vulva and does not alter the vaginal microbiota. They
can last in the body for up to 12 HRS maximum, you can even use them in the
shower or even while you sleep! If you are uncomfortable you can remove it
before, it is recommended to remove it 2 to 3 times a day. This is the most
ecologically viable option as you will be generating much less waste than using
pads or tampons. Finally, it should be boiled for 3 to 5 minutes maximum. If you go
over the time limit you run the risk of it breaking its effectiveness is minimal.

The cup is a device that we should all use, because it is the most comfortable
option for your vulva, hygienic and reusable. Thanks to this we do our bit by
making the pollution to yourself and the environment is less.
