Dear Friends, With over 100 flu shots administered (with almost no wait time!) and all the festive Succos activities, October was surely an exciting month. We hope to serve you equally well in November. We kick off the month with some traffic safety tips on Thursday, November 3rd and a relaxing workshop entitled Peaceful Me on Monday, November 7th. Learn valuable stress relief tactics something we all need in this fast paced world. As Tuesday, November 8th is ELECTION DAY, well give out a pick-up lunch at 1:15 pm. Dont miss out on our new partnership with the New York Public Library on Monday November 14th, when our BOOK CLUB GROUP meets to discuss its first book The Help. Theres still time to borrow a copy of the book from our office and join in. We will be announcing our next selection to be discussed in December shortly. Our November Birthday Party will be held on Wednesday, November 16th. Bette Grossman returns on Monday, November 21st to teach you the very popular trend of jewelry beading. Her group will be making impressive Swarovski bracelets to brighten a dreary winter. Space is limited, so sign up in the office and dont miss out. We look forward to greeting you on Thursday, November 24th, when we lay out a complete Turkey Lunch with all the fixings. The Choir of KAJ will be treating us to a gala musical performance to round out the festivities, just as they did last year. Music Monday on November 28th & Exercise Classes on Wednesdays & Thursdays continue. Moriah is very grateful to Mrs. Meta Bechhofer for her thoughtful donation to our Center. It is not too late to contribute to this worthy effort. Stop in to the office to receive a copy of our current brochure and consider making a tax-deductible donation to benefit local seniors. If you are unable to participate at this time, or if youd like to do more, may we suggest an alternate way of supporting our program at a later time? Some people have chosen to make our Center a beneficiary in their will so as to have an everlasting memorial at Moriah. (Our staff can guide you if you are unsure how to make the necessary arrangements)
