Answer 1

My friend’s statement is not valid because Organizational behavior is a field of study in

which we study individuals and groups of people and how they interact with each other in an

organization to achieve a common goal. Therefore it is not only beneficial for people in

management but also across different professions. In any organization, effective communication

plays a vital role among the employees working as a team. Organizational behavior provides

insight into solving a conflict, motivating employees, and communication styles. These skills can

be very beneficial for all individuals working in different departments and professions.

Organizational behavior can help people develop leadership skills that are not only useful for

managers but also for people from various departments. This leadership will help them take their

decision and solve different problems in day-to-day activities. Organizational behavior courses

can help understand individual behavior in a workplace. It can help an individual to understand

themselves and their colleagues. These skills can help professionals to communicate within an

organization effectively (Crail, 2023).

Answer 2

Organizational behavior theories and practices can improve organizational effectiveness

through human capital by engaging them in proper training and development to enhance their

productivity, and also by providing motivational activities for them to keep them on board

through a performance appraisal system and setting goals. Most importantly providing positive

and supportive organizational culture for the employees increases effectiveness and productivity.

This can only be beneficial if the organization starts to invest in the people which will ultimately

lead to job satisfaction (Rabemananjara & Parsley, 2006).
