(For the Existing Students of Class-10 of this School)
27-01-2024
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Greetings!
This circular provides you information regarding the eligibility criteria for selecting a stream for your
child in Class-11 It is not only based on the interest of the student but strictly on the marks obtained
in Classes 9 & 10. Therefore, you are requested to carefully go through the points given below before
the selection of a stream for your ward.
QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE OF MARKS IN CLASS-9
It is compulsory for a student to obtain a minimum of 33% marks in all the subjects (English, Hindi,
Maths, Science & Social Science) to be declared "Promoted" to Class-10. Students who do not
satisfy the above criteria will not be promoted to Class-10.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS-11
1. The student/parents have to decide the stream along with the optional subject from the available
combination of subjects in the school in Class-11 after the successful completion of Class-10. Simply
promotion from Class-10 will not guarantee admission to Class-11 in desired stream & optional
subject. The school will offer three streams to select from – Science, Commerce and Humanities,
strictly on the basis of student’s performance/marks/percentage of marks in both 9 & 10 classes.
2. As per guidelines, the school has the right to constitute and adhere to its own norms of eligibility
for admission to Class-11 which are as follows:
a. Excellent academic performance, attendance record and regularity of work in Classes 9 & 10.
b. Most significantly, the school emphasizes on character formation of a student from day one of
his/her admission. Hence, the conduct and character of the student will be an important
factor in the eligibility criteria.
c. Students who have been given any sort of warning for misbehavior or found guilty in any
act of indiscipline during their course of study in the school will be permitted to apply for
admission only after submitting an Affidavit and assuring to abide by the points given in it.
