Pentru toate persoanele: forma de baza a verbului (see, watch, go, take...)
Pentru he, she, it: forma de baza a verbului + s/ +es (sees, watches, goes, takes...)

Reguli scriere:
1. Verbul se termina in o: + es
Go – goes I go to school. He goes to school.
Do – does

2. Verbe care se termina in ch, sh, x, s: +es

I watch Tv. – She watches TV.
I wash my car. – He washes his car.

3. Verbe care se termina in consoana+ y: + ies

I cry. – She cries.
I fly. – He flies.
I study. – She studies.

4. Verbe care se termina in vocala + y: + s

I play. – She plays.

Negativul:

Don’t / doesn’t + forma de baza a verbului

1. Actiuni generale
I go to school every day. – Eu merg la scoala in fiecare zi.

2. Actiuni frecvente
She always does her homework after school. – Ea mereu isi face temele dupa scoala.
Always (mereu), usually (de obicei), often (adesea), sometimes (uneori), never (niciodata)

3. Un program
The bus for Bucharest leaves at 8 o’clock. – Autobuzul catre Bucuresti pleaca la ora 8.

4. Un adevar stiintific.
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius. – Apa ingheata la 0 grade Celsius.
