Renaissance Invention Advertisement

Imagine you are the famed inventor responsible for inventing one of these
world-changing objects! You now need to sell your item to the world, so you
must create an advertisement that describes and promotes your invention.
Your advertisement must contain the following:
● A clear title (name of invention)
● An image of your invention
● A detailed description of your invention
● A short biography on yourself

A major writing focus of this project will be the fact that you must write to
persuade and sell your product. This will change the tone and style of your
writing. The description of your invention should make the reader want to buy
or use your invention! The biography of yourself should convince the reader that
you are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and reliable.

Inventions will be drawn at random, but students will be allowed one day to
make trades within their class.

Advertisements must be printed on an 8.5x11 page in color and posted on our

back bulletin board by February 9th. You may use Canva or Word, or create this
entirely by hand.
