Section 1.

No person shall be deprived of applying/studying an architecture course nor shall any person be
denied the equal treatment when studying architecture

Section 2.
The right of the architecture students to be secure in their plates, sculptures, models and other
projects against unreasonable destruction, transferring, or disposing.

Section 3.
1. The privacy of communication between the student and the professor shall be inviolable,
except upon the consent of both parties.
2.Any evidence obtained in violation of this or the preceding section shall be inadmissible for
any purpose in any proceeding.

Section 4.
No rule shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, of artistic creativity or
the right of architecture students to explore and develop their skills.

Section 5.
No architecture student shall be denied for his designs, discriminated, harassed, and other
unjust actions concerning his/her religion.

Section 6.
The liberty of abode and of changing the same within the limits prescribed by law shall not be
impaired except upon lawful order of the court. Neither shall the right to travel be impaired
except in the interest of national security, public safety, or public health, as may be provided by
law.

Section 7
The right of the Architecture students to information on matters of any changes with respect to
the task at hand shall be recognized. Access to all official resources such as schematic design,
floor and ceiling plans, design development, even the feasibility studies of plans, models and
project services, general conditions of the site shall made accessible to the student, subject to
such limitations as may be provided by Department Head.

Section 8.
The right of the architectural students to form and join any organizations that will help them to
establish a good foundation for their relationship with their peers, to learn more about their field,
and to develop their skills in communication and work ethics considering that they are not
violating any rules set by the institution such as being part of fraternities and sororities. In
addition, there should no biases involve in considering one's choice of creating or joining such
organization.
Section 9.
Any artwork done by an architecture student that is displayed in public cannot be taken down
without apprising. When an artwork done by a student is being displayed in a certain place
inside the school premises and is given a specific amount of time for said artwork to be
displayed in that place but someone with a title (ex. professor) suddenly wants to take it down
unexpectedly because he/she has other plans for that specific place. Then, before doing so,
that someone should pay a reasonable amount to the student for the artwork to be taken down.
An architecture student’s artwork is precious to him/her and it takes up a lot of time from the
student just to finish any artwork therefore he/she has the right to ask for a justifiable amount in
return of their work being taken before the allotted time given to them.

Section 10.
The student must follow the design that was agreed upon the professor and the student. Any
design that was not approved shall not be considered. If there is a need to change the approved
design the student has the right to revise it with his/her consent. No law shall contradict the
policies and obligation between the agreement of the people involved, once the agreement is
done. This must apply within the duration of the professor’s involvement on the student subject.
The law is made to protect the rights of the architecture students in the Philippines who have a
professor that cannot be compromised. This law also protects any rights that the professor have
in the university. In this way both sides are protected by the law.

Section 11.
Architecture students who lack sufficient money or are financially unstable shall not be refused
the right to be given free of charge or reduced cost of materials for their school necessities.
Schools that have architecture programs as well with deficient provisions should be given
equipments for its betterment.
