Wilson Principal and Secretary Head of the Department Theme ‘The Seminar titled “Tracing the Tradition and Modern Applications of Indian Logic,” will be organized around the theme “Harmony in Duality”. The theme, “Harmony in Duality,” highlights the coexistence of traditional wisdom and modern advancements, emphasizing the synergy between the two. Following the theme, the seminar will delve into the rich heritage of Indian logic and explore its contemporary relevance and applications. It aims to promote a holistic understanding of Indian logic, its historical significance, and its potential for enriching modem thought and applications. The seminar will encourage scholars to engage in meaningful discourses that would bridge the gap between tradition and contemporary knowledge, ultimately fostering harmony in duality. Objective ‘The seminar will be organized with the objective of promoting a holistic understanding of Indian logic, its historical significance, and its potential for enriching modem thought and application by emphasizing the synergy between traditional wisdom and modern advancements. Call for Papers Original research papers (in English) on Indian Logic, preferably from Vedas, Upanisads, Puranas, Agamas, Schools of Indian Philosophy, and Contemporary Indian Philosophy are invited for presentation. The research article should be original and authentic, having not been published before. ‘The paper and abstract should not exceed 3000 words and 300 words respectively. The paper should include i) Abstract, ii) Keywords, iii) Introduction, iv) Methodology, v) Discussion, vi) Conclusion, and vii) References. The Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition) is to be followed. Publication Selected papers will be considered for publication as edited volume with ISBN.
