Uncontrolled Aerodrome Arrivals in IMC

Situation:
It’s back to the basics. Fixed wing squadrons are to improve on their understanding of
standard procedures in approach in Instrument Meteorological Conditions, including
radio communications. This will facilitate high intensity of traffic arrivals upon RTB.

Mission:
This is a course focussed on techniques to landing in IMC landing circuits, joining
circuits and radio comms where the aerodrome has reverted to uncontrolled ATC
operations.

Download and replace beacons.lua file prior to training briefing

Click it, then click download and it will download the zip file. Extract the folder. Each
subfolder contains a .png picture for your kneeboard, and a modified beacons.lua file for
each map.

For the training, just go to your main (not saved games) DCS folder, ..\DCS World
OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\PersianGulf rename the beacons.lua file as
beacons_original.lua copy the modified beacons.lua here. copy the png picture to your
kneeboard folder. You can repeat the process for the other maps. (edited)
