 1. Driver Software Outline
This software is:
the Setup information files necessary for the NEC-made UF000x SERIES to operate under
Windows2000.

2. Composition of Setup information files

uf000x.cat Catalogue file Windows specification

NOTE: “uf000x.inf” can not be used in the driver software installation for Windows98.

3. System Requirements
(1) Operating System: Windows2000 Service Pack 1 or later.
(2) System: PCs supporting USB interface

4. Driver Software Installation Procedure

The driver software installation is executed from "Add New Hardware Wizard ".
If the computer prompts for the driver location, specify the location of inf file appropriate for
the operating system.

5. Supported Format Disk Type

The driver software supports two types of format disks defined in "USB Mass Storage Class-UFI
Command Specification Revision 1.0".

1.44MB (512byte x 18sector x 80track)
1.25MB (1024byte x 8sector x 80track) is supported only for Write and Read.
Note: 1.21MB (512byte x 15sector x 80track) is not supported.
