Subject: Urgent Appeal Regarding Election Irregularities

Dear Chief Justice,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today with deep concern about the recent
general elections held on February 8, 2024, in our beloved country. It's with a heavy heart that I
bring to your attention the troubling reports of electoral misconduct and rigging that have
surfaced in the aftermath of the elections.

The outcome of the elections appeared to indicate a significant victory for the Pakistan Tehreek-
e-Insaf (PTI) party, with a promising lead of nearly 180 National Assembly seats and a projected
2/3rd majority in the Punjab Assembly. However, amidst the celebrations of democracy in
action, disturbing accounts of irregularities have come to light.

It is distressing to hear that, despite the overwhelming support for PTI, the electoral process was
marred by alleged instances of rigging and undue influence, reportedly orchestrated by elements
within the military donning their uniforms. This manipulation not only undermines the
democratic rights of our citizens but also casts a shadow of doubt over the integrity of our
electoral system.

Furthermore, the aftermath of the elections has seen PTI candidates, who bravely contested
under the party banner, facing coercion and intimidation to abandon their allegiance or face
severe consequences. This coercion not only violates the principles of democracy but also
infringes upon the rights of individuals to freely choose their political affiliations.

In light of these distressing developments, I appeal to your esteemed office to intervene and
initiate a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities surrounding the elections. It is
crucial that we uphold the sanctity of our democratic process and ensure that justice prevails.

I place my utmost trust in the wisdom and impartiality of the Supreme Court under your
esteemed leadership to address these issues with urgency and integrity. Our nation looks to you
to safeguard the principles of democracy and uphold the rule of law.
